WhatsApp rolled out the Status update on the platform after it earned brownie points. Several privacy upgrades which include the share option to share the status with select contacts only with time, the feature on the Meta-owned instant-messaging app has received.
Their WhatsApp Status, the social network platform allows the users to upload after 24 hours which disappears automatically. With their close contacts, WhatsApp users can share their Status or specific contacts’ status.
On Meta’s other platforms while the status feature is available also, Facebook and Instagram, share the same status which allows users to share updates between the 2 apps, on WhatsaApp for a month the option was missing.
WhatsApp took the feedback from the users very seriously and listened to the demand of its users at the social networking it seems like it will allow now to their WhatsApp Status share directly updates on Facebook from the App Within.
To share on multiple platforms this feature will make it a lot easier for every specific app without having to open to post separately for every single upload.
You have the option to share your WhatsApp status updates to Facebook Stories and other apps,” said WhatsApp. “On Android and iPhone.
Steps To Share Your WhatsApp Stories On Facebook:
(i) Open WhatsApp App or Whatsapp Website.
(ii) Then tap on Status.
(iii) Update on Create a Status.
(iv) Two sharing options you will get which is based on if you want to share an old or new status update:
- Share new status updates: Tap Share to Facebook Story, Under My Status. Tap Allow or Open to Open the Facebook app if you are prompted. The audience you want to share with select it in the Facebook app and then tap Share Now. Once you go to another tab share to Facebook Story option disappears please note.
- Share old Status updates: On iPhone tap My status on Andriod. After that, tap more status updates next you wanted to share, share to Facebook then tap. Open to open the Facebook app if promoted tap allows. Select the audience you wanted to share in the Facebook app after the tab Shares Now.
WhatsApp will reopen after you share your status update.
